The Ship

Kiara Vestigium

(26.03.2013)

The ship rocking back and forth, back and forth.

Like a nut shell on the waves.

Back and forth. Back and forth.

The wind howling its soughing song.

Icy fingers ripping on the sails.

Back and forth. Back and forth.

Creaking wood and groaning ropes.

Struggling against her majesty.

Back and forth. Back and forth.

Turquoise, bluish, blackish water.

The only sight from the bull‘s eyes.

Back and forth. Back and forth.

The sea as a cradle the storm as drive.

The wind for me - a lullaby.

Back and forth. Back and forth.

Until I fall asleep.

Back and forth. Back and forth.
